Aeroflot CEO Sergei Aleksandrovsky provided details on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

It says the group of companies has already completed the insurance settlement process for 83 aircraft, not counting 10 Boeing 777s and eight Airbus A330s acquired in 2022.

In February 2024, foreign lessors stopped claiming seven more aircraft used by Aeroflot. The boards became the property of NSK Insurance Company LLC between January 16 and February 15.

NSC paid the amounts required for settlement and the lessors cancelled claims both under policies issued by Russian insurers and under leasing contracts with Aeroflot PJSC.

Aeroflot initially filed a lawsuit against the Yakovlev aircraft manufacturing company for 7.3 billion rubles. The company is a supplier of SJ-100 civilian aircraft.
