61% of Russians dream of quitting their job, opening their own business and earning up to 500,000 rubles a month. Most of them do not start their own business because they are not ready for the change. This is stated in the Ozon study, the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU.

One in three Russians dreams of starting a business and earning up to 500 thousand rubles a month

27% of citizens would like to open their own online store, one in six Russians see possibilities to open an order collection point (POI) or an offline store (18% each). The own cafeteria attracts 16% of those surveyed and a restaurant, 14%. Another 12% would like to open their own salon or agency.

77% of the respondents would like to earn up to 500 thousand rubles per month, 12% – from 500 thousand rubles, and 11% – more than 1 million rubles. For comparison: 24% of employed Russians now earn more than 100 thousand rubles a month, 23% – 60-80 thousand rubles, and 13% – up to 20 thousand rubles a month.

And only 6% of survey participants have already quit their jobs and launched their own companies. Basically, Russians cannot start their own business due to lack of capital, unwillingness to change, doubts about success, etc.

An online survey was conducted among 1547 citizens over 18 years of age. Regions are Russian cities with a population of more than 100,000 people.
