The US Food and Drug Administration has given Neuralink permission to test brain chips in humans. In the near future the company will announce on the recruitment of participants in the first clinical trials.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink allows chips to be implanted in people

Neuralink was founded in 2016. Its immediate goal is to learn how to implant chips in paralyzed people so they can use computers and phones with the power of thought.

Since 2019, the company has been trying to get regulatory approval for human trials, without which the product cannot enter the market.
