You may want or need to adjust Windows’ screen resolution, but this option is not available. What exactly can you do about it? We will offer you some solutions.
One of the first things you can do is check for updates to the display drivers. Open the start menu and type Device Manager (or press Windows key + X to open quick menu; Device Manager chooses).
Double-tap the drivers for the display to see additional options. Now right click on the correct drivers (of the screen you are using) and select the option you are looking for updates.
You can now check for updates in two ways: automatically or via Windows Update. Try both, especially if you haven’t had any luck after trying one. You can also reinstall the drivers in this menu, that might help too.
Right click on the drivers and select the uninstall option. Now click on the top left Action and let the computer scan for hardware changes. Then restart the PC.

How to access resolution options Windows
It can also help to let a troubleshooter run wild. Press Windows key + R to open it. carry out– open the window. Copy the following text into the field and press Enter: msdt.exe -id Maintenance Diagnostics† you open with this System maintenance†

Reinstall the drivers
If that doesn’t work, you can also uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Select the drivers with the right mouse button and to pick up† Then download the appropriate drivers from Microsoft’s website, install the drivers, and then restart your computer.
If the problem persists, you can also check if there is a generic update for Windows. If not, reverting to a previous version of Windows may help.
