Almost a month after their official introduction in China, Realme launches in Spain Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+two of its most important mobile phones for 2023. They are positioned between 300 and 500 euros and have a clear goal: to compete with Xiaomi in one of the most competitive segments of the current market.
The two smartphones are very similar to each other. The main differences, in fact, are limited to two areas:
- Photo offer.
- Download speed.
Everything else, on the other hand, is similar in both products. May be can’t say they are 100% the same – for example, holding both mobile phones welcomes different tactile motor behaviors – but they differ in key points: processor, battery capacity, screen resolution, etc.

Realme 11 Pro+ shines with a huge 200MP sensor
The main attribute of the Realme 11 Pro + is without a doubt 200-megapixel rear-mounted sensor. The most interesting thing about it, from a marketing point of view, is the number of pixels, but under this number lies an even more interesting fact: it is a huge sensor. Specifically, it measures 1/1.4 inch, which is through pixel binning, corresponds to effective pixels of 2.24 microns. For reference, it’s in the same window as the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 1/1.3″ sensor.
It doesn’t mean that Realme 11 Pro+ camera is on par with today’s high-end devices, because in modern photography, the size of the sensor is much more influenced. However, this is a good starting point for the brand. First of all, in its inevitable comparisons with models from other brands.
This sensor is also open the door to zoom digital with less loss of quality than other photographic systems. An option that is appreciated, given that the Realme 11 Pro + does not install a camera with a native telephoto lens.
What does it include 8MP ultra wide camera. You can’t expect great results from this, but it will do the job in well-lit rooms, providing an extra field of view that’s useful in many situations.
About these hardware items, the brand has included various algorithms and capture modes. For example: Realme talks about a moon shot mode that optimizes results in such situations, as well as a shot mode specially designed for the stars. He also implemented special algorithms to improve bokeh for example, in images taken in portrait mode.
Beyond Photography The Realme 11 Pro+ comes with a thin and durable body, where the leather back is the protagonist. For those who followed the technological innovations of the time, it will remind LG G4, which at one time also chose this type of finish. It certainly conveys an excellent feel to the touch, contributes to a good grip of the device and stands out from the usual. The big question is how this finish will age. This, and if this will convince the public in terms of aesthetics, since this is something broadly subjective.
Screen, on the other hand, slightly curved on the sidesAs well as other brands. Personally, I think such solutions made sense in the past, but today they are not the best option. However, I must admit that this is a completely subjective opinion and that many people probably accept its advantages and disadvantages.
As for the panel itself, Realme 11 Pro + has it. This is probably one of the best we can find in its price segment. OLED technology, refresh rate up to 120Hz, peak brightness of almost 1000 nits, HDR10+ compatibility… It’s obviously not a high-end panel like Samsung or Apple’s, but it’s one of the best in its price segment.
also welcome 5000 mAh batterywhich comes with the system 100W fast charging authorities. The brand also includes the necessary adapter to achieve the listed power in the box, which is good news in terms of practicality.
Finally, the processor: this Realme 11 Pro+ includes MediaTek Dimensity 7050. This is an SoC similar in behavior to the Dimensity 1080 on which Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is installed. I wouldn’t say it’s a chip that mesmerizes with its range, as it would be with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but it does its job without any problems.
Realme 11 Pro also has something to say.
Everything that has been said about Realme 11 Pro + applies to the younger model. The only three differences are as follows:
- Fast charging goes from 100W to 67W.
- The main camera goes from 200 MPX to 100 MPX. The wide-angle and macro sensors were also abandoned, but a depth sensor was installed.
Of the two Perhaps the most noticeable cut is the camera. Especially because of the loss of versatility due to the ditching of the 200MP sensor and the wide angle. However, the price also drops accordingly by about 100 euros, so the Realme 11 Pro could be an interesting option for those who are looking for a thin phone with a different design, great screen quality and good behavior in everything else.
Availability and prices
- Realme 11 Pro+: Available from today for the price of 519 euros. However, those who buy it between June 20 and 30 will be able to buy it for 469 euros.
- Realme 11 Pro: available from today at the price of 399 euros. Those who buy it between 20 and 30 June will be able to take it for 359 euros.
These numbers put Realme in competition with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 series as well as Poco F5 from the same company. The choice between one or another model will depend on specific offers and small preferences on the part of the buyer.. However, despite how competitive this segment is, Realme’s offering has a lot to compete with.
