Without previous campaigns and with very little noise, Huawei On August 29, it introduced the Mate 60 Pro, its new mid-range model.
The most interesting feature is the three holes on the screen where the Chinese brand has placed the selfie camera and the 3D ToF sensor.
Huawei has unveiled a large 6.82-inch LTPO 10-bit OLED display with a resolution of 2720 x 1260 pixels and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The Mate 60 Pro also features second-generation Kunlun Glass on the top of the panel.
The three holes at the top have the same setup we saw on the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 50 Pro: a 13MP ultra-wide-angle selfie camera, as well as 3D facial mapping sensors and lasers for Face ID.
Three more cameras were placed in the circle at the back. The familiar 50MP main unit with OIS and PDAF we saw on the Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture. The ultra-wide-angle camera has a 12 MP sensor and an f/2.2 lens, while the third camera has a 48 MP sensor and an f/3.0 telephoto lens with optical image stabilization and autofocus.
The 5000mAh battery supports 88W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging.
The operating system is HarmonyOS 4.0, making the Mate 60 Pro the first phone to feature such a user interface out of the box.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro comes with 12GB of RAM and three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Currently, the company’s website lists only the mid-range option, priced at 6,999 yuan (about $960/€900).
