According to an insider, Samsung’s first smart ring will be introduced in January 2024. The “Samsung Galaxy Ring” (or Curio), which doesn’t yet have a defined name, should ship with the Galaxy S24.

The information came from “Ice Universe,” which constantly posts information on Twitter and Weibo, a popular social network in Asia. No details about the device were disclosed. but is likely to be seen as a standout at the conference.

So far, very little information has been released about the ring and its existence has not even been confirmed. Another rumor that has surfaced recently suggests that mass production of the device started in August, and if true, the expected presentation is not that surreal.

What will the smart ring be used for?

Samsung’s “Curio” should be an addition to the Samsung ecosystem rather than a standalone device. Rumor has it that the device will be a fitness tracker and track other health statistics like heart rate and sleep quality.

The watch itself will not present the collected data, but will take advantage of pairing with Samsung’s apps for mobile phones and smartwatches to present the recordings.
