Artist Kendrick Lamar’s company PgLang has been hatching a plan behind the scenes for a while, and now it’s finally bringing it to light: it’s the Light Phone. very minimalistic cell phonewith a simple design that complements the list of eccentric phones.
As part of the limited edition release, only 250 mobile phones produced will be available on the pgLang website on November 2nd.
There’s no word yet on how much the limited edition “just a phone” Light Phone will cost, but the actual phone costs $299 unlocked on Light’s website.
It’s only being promoted as a cell phone, just because it won’t have social media or access to your email.
This is a version of the minimalist Light Phone II. The phone is designed for people who want to avoid all the anxiety associated with using social media because “you will never have social media, clickbait news, email, internet browsing or any other endless anxiety-inducing feed.” Sveta’s website.
The Light Phone II can still make calls and send text messages, has a headphone jack, Bluetooth, and can be used as a hotspot.
