Intel has released the first Arc Alchemist desktop board in China. The suggested retail price of the A380 is 147 euros and it should compete with AMD’s Radeon RX 6400. This model is aimed at the budget segment, where games are run at 1080p at medium settings.
The A380 features a fully-enabled ACM-G11 GPU with 8 Xe cores (128 execution units) and the same number of ray tracing units. This GPU offers 6GB of gddr6 memory that combines a base clock speed of 2,000MHz and a speed of 16Gbps with a 96-bit memory bus. TDP 75 watts, 38% more than the RX 6400’s 54 W. According to Intel, the A380 offers 14-27% more fps per euro compared to its Radeon counterpart, which currently sells for around 171 euros.
Based on the data provided, Twitter user SkyJuice concludes that the worst-case boarding pass is 2 percent slower than the RX 6400 in Destiny 2, while the best-case scenario shows a 9% difference in favor of the Arc GPU in the Naraka Bladepoint. On average, the A380 appears to be slightly faster than the lower-end RDNA 2 chip, but it’s best to wait for comparisons from independent reviewers.
During this month, the GPU will be available through various desktop partners such as Acer, Asus, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Gunnir and is expected to be released for the rest of the world in the summer. Second, he was the first to reveal his own model, which was also the first dedicated Alchemist map.
The Gunnir Photon is a dual-slot model with two fans and a relatively modest appearance. It uses a black veil and some light accents. Remarkably, the manufacturer opted for slower memory than the reference model (15.5 Gbps), although the frequency and power consumption were increased to 2,450 MHz and 92 W, respectively. and three display ports.
Gunnir also pointed to a top model, possibly like the A770 or A780.
