Apple has started selling a new accessory in its digital store starting Wednesday the 13th. innovation one MagSafe Charging Case with USB-C Connection for headphones Second generation AirPods Pro.
The accessory is available for purchase from the company’s North American store for $99; this value costs R$ 492 in direct currency conversion. However, on the Brazilian website the price of the product is R$ 999.
You can make your purchase in cash with a 10% discount, or you can pay in up to 12 installments. Delivery is expected within three to four weeks, i.e. from mid-January 2024.
Why does Apple sell the charging case separately?
The charging box that Apple sells separately has the same technical features as the model sold with the 2nd Generation AirPods Pro.
These include the U1 chip, IP54 certification for resistance to water or dust, and up to 30 hours of guaranteed audio counting the energy of the case. The 2nd Generation AirPods Pro, the brand’s current top-end headphones, are priced at R$ 2,599.
The target audience of this accessory is users who already own a headset of this model but have a case that uses the Lightning port.
This company’s standard connector has been replaced in recent years by the current industry standard, USB-C. In fact, especially under the pressure of the European Union, Apple even replaced Lightning in the iPhone 15 family, which it launched for the first time with the new entry released in 2023. iPads and Macs follow suit in their latest generations.
