Leader Evan Blass shared what it seems First look at the countdown to the next Galaxy Unpacked on your X Account. That’s where they happen lCharacteristics of the following Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra were posted online along with compelling evidence of the January 17 publication.
“Galaxy AI will appear” on January 18 at 3 a.m. KST. (Korean Time) This translates to 1:00 PM ET on January 17th, which is the same as the previously reported release date. Blass also shared technical specifications for all three devices, which confirm many of their previously discussed features.
In accordance with specificationSamsung plans to once again offer three models within the lineup. There’s the standard Galaxy S24 with a 6.2-inch screen, the S24 Plus with up to 6.7 inches, and the S24 Ultra with a 6.8-inch screen. The specifications indicate that all three are powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although outside the US, Canada and China, the phones are rumored to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor.
In terms of cameras, the S24 Ultra has a 200-megapixel primary sensor (same as the S23 Ultra), while the S24 and S24 Plus top out at 50-megapixel. The S24 Ultra telephoto lens will provide 10x zoom, while the other two models will offer up to 3x zoom. Other rumored camera specs include 10-megapixel telephoto cameras on the S24 and S24 Plus, and a pair of telephoto lenses on the Ultra: a 50-megapixel with 5x optical zoom (which can reportedly be cropped for 10x zoom) and a 10-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. All three phones are rumored to come with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
In terms of batteries, according to the leaked specifications, the S24 has a capacity of 4000mAh, the S24 Plus has a capacity of 4900mAh, and the Ultra has a capacity of 5000mAh. The entire range is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and the specs confirm that the S24 Ultra will use titanium in its construction rather than aluminum like the S24 and S24 Plus.

On adding AI to the countdown timer last month: “Galactic AI is coming” Korean times said Samsung’s generative AI model, dubbed “Gauss”, could be integrated into the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup and run directly on the device to create and edit images, compose emails, summarize documents and assist with coding. Samsung also talked about using artificial intelligence to translate phone calls in real time.
