The new logo is quite minimalist, with a strong blue color dominating everything and reflecting the Chinese brand’s new corporate image.

In any case, HyperOS is expected to gradually arrive on all Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices, which the brands are still actively supporting with software updates in the coming months.

HyperOS remains an open source Android project, but it will be merged with Vela, Xiaomi’s IoT platform.

Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, commented on the launch of HyperOS in October that the operating system will put “people at the center of the ecosystem” where they will connect with other people, cars and homes. His team started with “a few engineers” and is now a huge company with nearly 5,000 software developers.
