On January 10, Samsung introduced its first two Galaxy 2024 models, this is a shock-resistant series: Samsung Galaxy xCover 7 and the Active tab 5.
xCover 7 features
In terms of design, you get an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, POGO pins for charging, and a programmable hardware button.
Otherwise, the new rugged phone features a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT display with a waterdrop notch, an unnamed processor (presumably a mid-range Dimensity 6100 Plus), 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,050mAh battery.

The Galaxy XCover 7 also features a 3.5mm port, a microSD card slot, and a removable battery. It also includes a single 50MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection.
Galaxy Tab Active 5

The Galaxy Tab Active 5 features an 8-inch 120Hz TFT display, an unnamed chipset, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage, and a 5,050mAh battery.
The tablet can still be used without a battery (via the charger). Samsung says this “battery-free mode” allows users to maintain battery life in hot environments, such as in a car.
Other features of the Galaxy Tab Active 5 include a 3.5mm port, 5G connectivity, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, and a remappable hardware button.
