Severe warning issued Ikea with its customers upon notification that the ÅSKSTORM 40W USB Charger has been discontinued and should not be used due to the possible risk of thermal burns and electrical shock due to deteriorating power cords.

Safety is a priority for IKEA and the ÅSKSTORM 40W USB charger in dark gray is being recalled. The power cord may become damaged or broken if it is wrapped around the charger or bent back and forth after prolonged use. A damaged cord can cause thermal burns and electric shock.

The ÅSKSTORM 40W Charcoal USB Charger can be identified by the model number ICPSW5-40-1, which is located on the label on the back of the USB charger.

The ÅSKSTORM 40W USB charger in dark gray can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (i.e. receipt) is not required.
