One of the main features of the new OnePlus 12 which has already been released in China, is a 64-megapixel periscope camera with 3x zoom. And now there’s a rival brand that’s going to borrow that core trait.

the real me Ha confirmed in X that one of the upcoming Realme 12 Pro series phones (supposedly Realme 12 Pro Plus) will have a periscope camera with 3x zoom.

The company shed more light on this camera by revealing that it is the same 64MP OV64B sensor found in the OnePlus 12. Realme added that this periscope camera also offers 6x zoom on the sensor and “tilt prism OIS” for increasing stability. The smartphone brand adds that the phone will support 120x ‘super zoom’.

The upcoming Realme phone will also feature a 50MP IMX890 primary camera, which is a flagship-level camera sensor.

Realme has confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro series will launch in January.
