Blackview BL8000 is a rugged and all-terrain cell phone that is as amazing as its brother – BL9000. It’s eye-catching because it offers dual 5G, dual screens and, yes, what could be considered a dual selfie camera. But what other characteristics can it offer people?
Unique cover
Like the BL9000, the Blackview BL8000 features a small display on the back of the mobile phone that provides quick access to items such as the clock, music player, step counter and compass. The best part is that the panel can be used as a viewfinder for taking selfies using the 50MP camera.
What about the home screen? It doesn’t lack in specifications: 2.4K resolution, 6.78-inch size, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness and various modes aimed at protecting people’s eyesight.
For a complete multimedia experience, the mobile phone has been equipped with stereo sound, which promises to “envelop” the user in the action.
24 GB RAM?

To meet various demands, Blackview BL8000 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. The RAM capacity is 24 GB (12 of which are 24 GB by expansion) and the internal memory is 512 GB, which is enough to store a large amount of content.
And to ensure maximum response, the smartphone is compatible with dual-band Wi-Fi 6. The manufacturer promises data transfer speeds up to three times higher than Wi-Fi 5.
As for the battery, it has the same capacity as its “big brother” BL9000, that is, 8800 mAh, which corresponds to up to 384 hours of standby time. Fast charging is 33W: it reaches 22 percent battery level in about 30 minutes.
“Reliable” optics
The main camera of the Blackview BL8000 is a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5, which has the necessary technologies for capturing “moving scenes” and obtaining accurate images in less than optimal lighting conditions. This element is accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle sensor (117 degrees) and another 8MP panoramic photography sensor. The one for selfies, with a 90-degree viewing angle, has a resolution of 16 MP.
As mentioned above, it is thanks to the rear display that you can use the main optics without complications to take selfies in maximum resolution.
Among other enhancements and image modes, the standout feature is compatibility with ArcSoft 8.0, which, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 18 percent improvement in photographic results.
Resistance and other characteristics

The Blackview BL8000 doesn’t play around with its durability: it’s IP68 and IP69K rated to withstand up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, MIL-STD-810H certified for maximum drop protection (1.5m), reinforced rubber corners. and an aluminum alloy frame reinforced with screws.
In terms of user experience, it includes Doke 4.0 based on Android 13 for intuitive use of all types of features, two spaces to separate work and personal, NFC and other aspects.
