Huawei announced its new Pura 70 mobile phone series this Thursday (18). The family consists of four different devices, with a different design and in its most expensive model, Advanced retractable camera system and variable aperture for main lens.
Considering Huawei’s trade restrictions in the face of United States sanctions, the technical specifications of the set are quite specific. However, the composition and prices recommended by the company are will compete in the premium and high-end intermediate marketbut it has the latest features on all devices.
While Huawei Pura 70 forms the basis of the new series, Pura 70 Ultra offers the most advanced features the company can offer. In between one device and the other are the Pura 70 Pro and 70 Pro Plus.
Huawei Pura70
Huawei Pura 70 has a 6.6-inch OLED display with Full HD+ (2760 x 1256) LTPO resolution with a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz, 2,500 nits maximum brightness and support for 1.07 billion colors. While there are thinner edges and a cutout for the camera on the front, there is room for the triple camera on the back in a triangular-shaped module with rounded ends.
The mobile phone has Kirin 9010 chipset inside. Huawei did not provide detailed information about the componentbut the CPU was discovered to have 8 cores (one main 2.3 GHz, three 2.18 GHz and four 1.55 GHz cores focusing on efficiency). Completing the technical sheet, the device has 12 GB RAM and will be available with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options (without memory card tray).
Huawei Pura 70’s cameras feature three rear lenses: main 50 MP (variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0, OIS); secondary 12.5 MP (ultrawide, f/2.2); and 48 MP telephoto (f/2.1, OIS). There is 13 MP resolution (f / 2.4) on the front.
Finally, The battery has a capacity of 4,900 mAh with support for 66 W wired or 50 W wireless charging (with 7.5 W reverse charging).. Connections include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS and IP68 certification against water and dust.
Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Pro Plus
There’s the Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Huawei Pura 70 Pro Plus, which serve as more complete alternatives. The duo doesn’t differ much from the base model; It inherits the same appearance and offers a very similar technical appearance.
- Huawei Pura 70 Pro: 6.8″ LTPO Full HD+ (2844 x 1260) OLED display and variable refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz; Kirin 9010 chipset, 12 GB RAM, 256/512 GB or 1 TB storage, 5,050 mAh capacity battery and 100 mAh Support Recharging;
- Huawei Pura 70 Pro Plus: 6.8″ LTPO FullHD+ (2844 x 1260) OLED display and variable refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz; Kirin 9010 chipset, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB storage, 5,050 mAh battery capacity and 100W charging support.
The main difference is in the cameras: Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Pro Plus are equipped with a 50 MP main lens (variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0, OIS). The ultrawide and telephoto sensors are the same as those on the base model.
Huawei Pura 70 Ultra
At the top of the group is the Huawei Pura 70 Pro. The technical specifications of the device are the same as cheaper models, from the screen to the internal components, but a special emphasis is placed on the cutting-edge technology that makes up the cameras.

Finally, the battery has a capacity of 5,200 mAh and supports 100 W charging. It supports Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and IP68 certification against water and dust.
Price and availability
Huawei Pura 70 was announced in China and there is no estimate of it reaching other markets. Recommended prices are:
- Huawei Pura70: 5,499 yuan (~R$3,985);
- Huawei Pura 70 Pro: 6,499 yuan (~R$5,070);
- Huawei Pura 70 Pro Plus: 7,999 yuan (~R$5,800);
- Huawei Pura 70 Ultra: 9,999 yuan (~R$7,250).
Given Huawei’s commercial limitations, all devices run HarmonyOS 4.2 system based on Android, but without Google services.
