This Thursday, April 18, in China, Huawei has just officially launched its new line of mobile phones. Huawei P70or also known as Huawei Pura 70 and its Pro, Pro+ and Ultra variants.
All of them have a triangular camera island and Huawei’s new Kirin 9010 chipset.

The phones are powered by an octa-core processor with one 2.3GHz main core, three 2.18GHz power cores, and four 1.55GHz efficiency units.
Huawei Clean 70

- It is built around a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels. There is a sheet of Kunlun glass on top for protection. The phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. There is no slot for expanding a memory card.
- 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and 12 MP f/3.4 telephoto camera with 5x zoom and optical image stabilization. The main camera still has a variable aperture of f/1.4–f/4.0, but it has now been upgraded to a 50MP sensor.
- The package includes a 4,900mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse wireless charging, as well as the required Huawei SuperCharge adapter. The phone runs on HarmonyOS 4.2.
- The Huawei Pura 70 starts at CNY 5,499 ($760/€710) for the base 12GB/256GB version and goes up to CNY 6,999 ($965/€905) for the 1TB variant. Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Pro+

- It features a pop-up lens mechanism for the 50MP main camera that opens the camera when in use. The rotating telescopic lens has a sophisticated motorized design that Huawei has tested for 300,000 expansion and contraction cycles.
- The main lens also features a variable f/1.6-4.0 lens with a focal length of 22.5mm.
- The second module on the back is a 50MP telephoto camera with a 90mm f/2.1 lens with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. The ultra-wide-angle camera has a 40MP sensor and an equivalent focal length of 13mm.
