The first Beta version of iOS 18 was released for download this Monday (10). Apple has started the testing phase of its new operating system for iPhone, with many new features announced at WWDC 2024. systems iPadOS 18Beta versions of macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11 and tvOS 18 have also been released.
Now, The update is available to developers enrolled in the Apple Developer Programthe company’s testing program, as usual.
iOS 18 introduces a host of new features, including the long-awaited Apple Intelligence. The platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to power a variety of text, images and communication tools, meeting user demands on various fronts.
Since this is the first test version of the new system, it is possible that some of the new features announced at the event will not be available. As always, features with more complex implementation are released over time and may even be saved for future releases.
This is an experimental update, so errors may occur more frequently than expected. You must also have one of the iOS 18 compatible iPhones.
How to download iOS 18 Beta?
If you are a developer and interested in downloading iOS 18 Beta, you can install it manually by going to: Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and select “iOS 18 Developer Beta”.
Access to iOS 18 is still limited as it is only available to developers. The Beta version for the general public will be released from July 2024.
