Google announced the Privacy tool in the About You Results section this Tuesday (11). user can exclude personal data such as phone number, address and email from search results. The news was announced during Google’s Brazil event.
Among the features of the tool, Google also announced that Brazil will be one of the first countries to receive permission to delete data on official documents such as driver’s licenses and CPF. The tool will also notify you when it finds the data again in Search.
Royal Hansen, Google’s Global Vice President of Privacy and Security, emphasizes: “Of course, removing this information from Search doesn’t mean removing it from the internet, but it’s an important step to help protect people online.”
The user can find the function in Search by clicking on the three dots next to the results or via the Google app. There, select the photo itself and view the “Privacy in Results About” option.

- Then request removal of the requested data.
