Dutch website GalaxyClub New rumors have emerged about the Galaxy S24 FE, the special and most affordable version of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 mobile phone series. The page obtained some information about the camera system of the device.
According to the publication, the main rear sensor of the smartphone is a ISOCELL GN3 From Samsung itself. The component has a 50 MP resolution, 1 µm (micrometer) pixels and a 1/1.57 inch sensor.
In practice, this means that the South Korean manufacturer will reuse the sensor, which is one of the most reused parts across different models. This is the same main rear camera as the 2023 Galaxy S23 FE, suggesting that the generational jump doesn’t involve a radical improvement in photography.
No details have been revealed about the other rear sensors and the front selfie camera, at least for now.
Galaxy S24 FE launch still a ways away
Also according to GalaxyClub, Samsung is working internally using the codename Galaxy S24 FE SM-S721.
Older speculation suggests it could have two chip options, just like the Galaxy S24 series: Exynos 2400Made by Samsung itself and other Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 3.
There is no official information about the launch of the device, but the page believes that it will only happen in the last quarter of the year, from the end of September, or even at the beginning of 2025. Production of the device would only start on these dates. Of April.
