There are many reasons why we recommend a Xiaomi mobile phone, especially from the POCO family, due to its exceptional value for money, however, one feature that sooner or later becomes annoying is the ads displayed in the native applications of the device, such as the file manager or video player. Luckily for you, removing ads from your Xiaomi mobile phone is a fairly simple process. Here we will tell you how to do it.

The ads you see on your Xiaomi mobile phone in apps like the file manager or video player are part of a service known as MSA or MIUI System Ads. Ironically, we find the option to deactivate them a bit hidden.

To disable them, go to the section Settings your mobile phone and find the section Fingerprints, face data and screen lock. Now go to the option Authorization and cancellation and look in the list of permissions MSA and deactivate it. Now you will see a screen where you need to click on “Accept” to forget about ads on your Xiaomi mobile phone. Note that this process is applicable to Xiaomi mobile phones with HyperOS.

If your Xiaomi still has MIUI installed, you can remove ads by going to Settings and look for an option Passwords and Security. Then look for an option Authorization and revocation and in the list search MSAuncheck the box and select the option in the dialog box RecallThe system will probably tell you that the option is invalid, but try again until you can do it.

After this process, go back to Settings And in Passwords and Security look for an option Confidentiality. Now scroll down until you find the option Advertising servicesnow just uncheck the box Personalized advertising recommendations.

After completing this process, you will see a significant reduction in the number of ads that appear on your Xiaomi or on models of the Redmi and POCO families. In addition to the “peace of mind” that you get from not seeing these ads, we believe that disabling them also results in a slight improvement in performance, so in our opinion, removing these ads is highly recommended.
