In recent weeks, Huawei has emphasized that the launch triple folding cell phone which would be unprecedented in the industry.
And now the Chinese company has just released a teaser that reveals the launch date of September 9. The special thing: it coincides with the day of the presentation of the Apple iPhone 16.
Huawei shared a teaser on Weibo showing a device with three foldable sides in the shape of an inverted Z, leaving little to the imagination as to what will headline the event.
DSCC analyst Ross Young predicted it would be the most expensive smartphone to date, while the company’s head of automotive and consumer technology Richard Yu called it a “landmark product.”
Huawei’s event is scheduled for September 10 at 2:30 p.m. PT. That’s 11:30 p.m. PT on September 9, the same day as Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event for audiences on the West Coast of the United States. In addition to the foldable watch, Huawei is also expected to announce a new smartwatch and an electric car on stage.
