macOS Sequoiaa new version of the operating system for Mac, is now available to all users. It comes with various new features aimed at improving productivity, such as the ability to automatically adjust the size of windows, the ability to connect the iPhone screen to the computer itself, and more. However, some of the main improvements of the new update are: They will not be available on Intel Mac computers.but will be exclusive to devices with Apple Silicon chips.

Apple Intelligencethe company’s suite of artificial intelligence tools is one of them. Intel Macs running macOS Sequoia will not be able to get features like the ability to rewrite text in the Mail app, Image Playground, and more. The Cupertino firm actually states on its website that one of the requirements for using Apple Intelligence is you have a Mac with M1 or higher.

On the other hand, the function transcription of voice notes which comes with macOS Sequoia, is also an exclusive feature for Mac computers with Apple Silicon chips. Therefore, computers with an Intel processor will not be able to use it. This feature, among other things, allows you to convert voice recordings that the user can make in the Notes app into text. In any case, this feature is also limited to the English language.

macOS Sequoia: News Coming to All Compatible Macs

Luckily, all Mac users compatible with macOS Sequoia will be able to enjoy features such as iPhone Mirroring. Also a new order of windows or the ability to turn on the background during video calls even in third-party applications.
