October 22 in China, Huawei has just launched its new Nova series cell phones: Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro.
On one hand, the nova 13 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1084×2412 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone runs HarmonyOS 4.2 and has 256GB/512GB/1TB of internal storage. On the back, there is a dual camera system consisting of a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, you have a 60MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The most basic model also features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging. The nova 13 measures 161.4 x 75.3 x 6.98mm and weighs 195g. It supports satellite connectivity, but only in mainland China.
Huawei Nova 13 Pro

The Nova 13 Pro features a 6.76-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1224×2776 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has the same storage options as the 13.
On the back, there is a 50MP primary camera with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, a 12MP 3x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The Pro measures 163.4 x 74.9 x 7.82mm and weighs 209g and is IP65 rated for dust and splash resistance. The remaining specifications are identical to those of the non-Pro nova 13 model.
The phones are available to order in China starting at RMB 2,699 ($378) for the nova 13 and RMB 3,699 ($519) for the nova 13 Pro. It is unclear when or if they will be available internationally.
