A test of the first 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip has appeared on Geekbench.

In the single-core test, the laptop scored 4263 points, which is the highest score among all PCs and Macs.

2. M4 Max (16-inch MacBook Pro): 3,914
3. M4 Pro (16-inch MacBook Pro): 3,871
4. M4 (Mac mini): 3784
5. AMD Ryzen 9950X3D: 3399

In the multi-core test, the MacBook Pro with M5 scored 17,862 points. This is 20% more than the result of M4. In addition, the M5 was faster than the M3 Pro processor and almost equaled the results of the M1 Ultra.
