Major handset manufacturers are gearing up for major launches in 2025, with Samsung kicking off the launch streak with the Galaxy S25 lineup, which we’ll likely see in January next year. Then, in the second half of 2025, Apple will make an announcement with the iPhone 17. But along the way, we will see several presentations from other Android manufacturers, presumably with new developments in the foldable segment and more. These are the most anticipated cell phones of 2025.
Samsung Galaxy S25
Samsung is usually the manufacturer that launches a series of notable high-end launches, and 2025 will be no exception as the South Korean company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 in January next year.

Samsung is expected to launch three models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, all with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which we already saw in the Realme GT 7 Pro, and in some markets, the Samsung Exynos 2500.
As for the improvements that these smartphones will have, hardware and software improvements are planned, including an update to One UI 7 and additional Galaxy AI features.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7

Samsung usually unveils its foldable devices in the summer, so we’re hoping to see the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the second half of 2025.
These smartphones should have improved hardware, especially with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Exynos 2500, although a thinner design is also expected.
And perhaps one of the most notable changes to the 2024 foldable lineup will be the launch of an “affordable” version called the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a model that could sacrifice camera and processor to offer a higher price.
iPhone 17

Apple is expected to release four iPhone 17 models, but it is possible that the Plus model will be removed from the catalog in favor of a “thin” model that will have a slimmer design. The “disadvantage” will be that, unlike the iPhone 17, it will only have one camera on the back.
Currently, reports on the features and specifications of the iPhone 17 talk about the inclusion of the A19 Pro processor, one of the first to be produced using 2nm technology, which will provide more power and better energy efficiency.
iPhone SE

After much speculation surrounding a 2024 launch, all indications are that Apple will update the iPhone SE in 2025 with a handset similar in design to the iPhone 14, with an all-screen display and a 48-megapixel camera.
This model will be crucial not only to offer users a more affordable model, but also to bring Apple Intelligence to more users, since Apple’s artificial intelligence is only available on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
OnePlus 13 and OnePlus Open 2

The OnePlus 13 is already a reality in China, so we expect it to launch only in the West. For now, we know that the OnePlus 13, OnePlus’ high-end model, includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and 100W fast charging, a pair of features that we think will become standard in 2025.
On the other hand, it is possible that OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus Open update after the lack of new features in 2023. It is possible that OnePlus will retain a “book” design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold.
Google Pixel 10

Another big hero of 2025 will be Google and its Pixel 10 lineup, which should include a Tensor 5 processor dedicated to artificial intelligence functions, including video editing tools.
There will be three models: Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, with differences in camera lenses and available storage. The third model will be the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, a foldable smartphone with the best features of the Pixel 10 Pro.
