TCL did not want to miss CES in Las Vegas, the most important technology trade show in the United States and also one of the most relevant in the world. The company announced its new screen technology called NXTPAPER 4.0, as well as a series of devices that will appear with it: on the one hand, a smartphone TKL 60 HE; on the other hand, tablet TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus. In addition, they also introduced two new TVs.

One of the most notable innovations, without a doubt, is the new screen technology that will appear on the brand’s devices and is designed to avoid visual fatigue. Specifically, NXTPAPER 4.0 It uses polarized light and blue light cleaning technology to make the backlight as natural as possible.

New is a new version of TCL’s panel technology, which includes artificial intelligence features to adapt shades depending on the environment. In other words, it is capable of adjusting the brightness or temperature of the screen depending on the environment.

TCL 60 XE and TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus

This technology, we repeat, is present in the TCL 60 XE smartphone, which the company presented at CES in Las Vegas. The device stands out due to the presence of a function called Max Inc.which turns the screen into an e-ink reading screen, reducing eye strain and extending battery life. TCL claims that this mode can achieve up to 7 days of use.

In terms of performance, the TCL 60 XE has Screen 6.8 inches with Full HD+ resolution. and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also comes with a 5010mAh battery and 256GB internal storage. Its main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and, of course, the smartphone also has artificial intelligence functions, for example, capable of transcribing voice recordings, summarizing texts, etc. However, the mobile phone is only available for the US market.

TCL tablet

TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus is 11.5-inch tablet with 2.2K resolution. and a 120Hz refresh rate, which stands out not only for the inclusion of the aforementioned panel technology, but also for its bet on artificial intelligence that helps the user avoid visual fatigue. In particular, the tablet has a visual comfort mode powered by artificial intelligence, which is able to adjust the screen configuration in accordance with the user’s habits so that it can change when playing text, a movie or a game.

Unlike the TCL 60 XE, the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus will launch in the European market. As confirmed by the company, this will happen in the near future.

New TVs QM6K and QM7K

In parallel, TCL presented two new mini-LED TVs at CES: QM6K and QM7K. Both models feature advanced QD-Mini LED technology, powered by an exclusive chip capable of increasing brightness levels by over 53% and light output by 10%. The company has also improved its backlighting system with technology that can eliminate any ghosting (or flowering) practically.

Both models are available in different screen sizes. QM6K can be purchased from 65, 75 and 85 inches priced at $1,000, $1,300 and $2,000 respectively. Of course, at the moment only in the USA. Availability of the QM7K is not yet known, but the company will likely provide more details in the coming weeks.
