Reordering our entire iPhone launch is a process that many of us go through once it’s in our hands. However, over time this order can become overwhelming; and, even worse, the prospect of changing it to another.
For this reason, Apple has included a feature that allows us to bring the iPhone home screen back to its roots. Of course, keep in mind that you won’t be able to reorder it back to how it was before, so if you want to get a new order for it, you’ll have to assemble it yourself.
This process will remove all widgets you have on your home screen and all folders what you created. You will only see your app icons as if you just took your iPhone out of the box. Plus, you can follow the steps on both iPhone and iPad.
Resetting the Home Screen on Your iPhone or iPad
This procedure is very similar to factory resetting your iPhone or iPad. But don’t worry, we won’t go that far. Nonetheless, this menu, in addition to the fact that you can leave your device as newbut you can take simpler options.
- Open the menu Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Once here, go to the section General your device.
- Walk all the way to the bottom of the screen. You will find an option Transfer or reset iPhone.
- The game. This will take you to a new screen with new options.
- Click on the button Reestablish from below. You will see a drop down menu with several options.
- What worries us Reset Home Screen. Choose.
- Your iPhone will ask for confirmation. Touch the red button Reestablish and ready.
Now when you go to the main screen, you should find it like new. All icons will be in their original order, although this will not affect app files or any other data on your iPhone or iPad.
