xiaomi prepare to launch a new 12T and 12T Pro, but we already know its main characteristics thanks to a leak. german portal WinFuture has access to a table of specifications for both models, as well as some promotional images that allow you to get to know both models in more detail.
In terms of design, too many surprises are not expected, as both mobiles remain in the aesthetic line that Xiaomi has taught us. However, it is mentioned that the Chinese would have ditched the metal frame in both versions, presumably to keep costs down. This means that the 12T and 12T Pro cases will be made entirely of plastic.
As was already the case with its predecessors, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. will have several common characteristics. One of them will be the screen, which will be represented by a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel covered with Gorilla Glass 5. It will have a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Another common point will be the 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, inherited from the 11T and 11T Pro launched last year.
Main differences between Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro


One of the most noticeable differences between the two models will once again be the processor. Xiaomi 12T Pro boasts a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ 1st Gen, accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Although WinFuture does mention that it will only be offered with 8GB of RAM in some countries. For its part, 12T will include SoC MediaTek Dimension 8100 Ultra. The RAM will be 8 GB, and the available storage will be 128 or 256 GB.
Another drastic change will be seen in the cameras section. Xiaomi 12T Pro will be the first model of the Chinese brand, in which 200 megapixel sensor with a maximum aperture of f/1.69. In addition, it will include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Meanwhile, a 20-megapixel camera will be featured on the front.
It is not yet known whether the main camera will use an optical image stabilization system. However, it will be interesting to see it in action and compare it with the competition. Let’s not forget that Motorola recently announced the Edge 30 Ultra, which also includes a 200MP camera.
Meanwhile Xiaomi 12T keep the main camera at 108 megapixels which was used on last year’s models. The rest of the sensors will be the same as in the Pro version.
Higher prices?
The infamous fact that these new mobile they won’t be cheap. Although this is not official data, they can be significantly more expensive than their predecessors.
