This is the design the iPad Pro needs and we’ve all been waiting for it.
The iPad Pro 2024 revolution would begin with a new design.
Apple completely redesigned the iPad Pro in 2018 with a bezel-less design, Face ID, 120Hz ProMotion display, and multiple home connectors. Apple users and tech fans alike praised the complete redesignbecause it has abandoned the Apple classic and what was seen by Steve Jobs as something different but functional.
After 5 years, iPad Pro has not undergone significant changes in its design, more than just adding a few extras. Therefore, it is likely that Apple is planning a new design of the professional device, and several renders show how this can happen while retaining elegance and usefulness.
The new design of the iPad Pro… in 2024
Mark Gurman, via the Power On newsletter, said that Apple is happy with the current iPad lineup and mentioned the following:
I don’t see any major updates for entry-level models, iPad mini or Air in 2023. The iPad Pro is definitely not going to get anything substantial this year. Instead, look for a big iPad Pro refresh next spring, complete with an updated design and OLED displays for the first time. From this point on, the company’s followers began to talk about possible predictions for the 2024 version of the iPad Pro. If what Gürman said is true, the first big change to the device will be the arrival of an OLED panel that deeper blacks and possibilities. Beyond for those who love to design here.
The 2022 iPad has the A14 Bionic chip and Touch ID functionality.
But besides that, It is worth noting that Gürman talked about a possible new iPad design., changing one so far ‘controversial’ aspect: the front camera. For example, the 2022 iPad camera is placed on the side to improve focus, noting that it doesn’t have Face ID.
But, iPad Pro’s new look could change that. There are even some images on Twitter that talk about what the new camera and new Face ID area will look like (if it continues with this technology). The 9to5Mac website mentions the following:
Majin Bu’s tweet highlights four options. The first is that FaceID is completely removed and is 100% frameless. Another idea is to reduce the bezel size to create a notch similar to iPhones, another design is to bring Dynamic Island to iPad and finally there is a hole punch design that can be used.
What a few people are talking about is iPad Pro’s new design should be compatible with one of the latest Apple innovations Inside the new lineup of iPhone: Dynamic Island. Its inclusion will open up space for innovation, so while we don’t know what’s coming from Apple this year, you can follow this trend.
What do you think? Want Dynamic Island on the new iPad Pro?
