The first key feature debuting in Scribe with today’s update highlights new types of brushes. Fountain pen, marker and pencil have joined the range of pens and markers available for use since the release of Scribe. Each new type of pen has its own characteristics and applications, just like their real-world counterparts, and takes full advantage of Scribe’s advanced pressure and tilt capabilities.
Along with the new pen types, subfolders have also been added to Scribe. Previously, users couldn’t create folders within folders to better organize their notes, but now organization is better and easier than ever. To make organizing easier, users can now also move folders in and out of other folders to keep things organized, which can be easily done using the ubiquitous three-dot menu.
The final new feature coming in today’s update is easier page navigation. Now, while inside a specific notebook, users can navigate to specific pages without scrolling through their entire composition. Like the new folder organization features, this can also be done via the three-dot menu via the new “go to page” option. While this may seem like a relatively small addition, it will help streamline the note-taking process by reducing the time users have to scroll through pages just to find the one they are looking for, which can be time consuming, especially when working. in a big composition.
