Although users usually choose between black and white, Apple offers a variety of colors in iPhone models. Like this, Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) conducted a survey to determine what the most popular smartphone colors are in 2023..

In the new iPhone 14 series, Purple was the most purchased phone in Pro and Pro Max models and was preferred by 42% of users.. The color sequence is tighter on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, and blue, which represents 27% of the devices, has a slight advantage.

For CIRP, this overwhelming advantage of the purple iPhone comes from Apple’s aggressive color promotion. However, when looking at the old versions of the smartphone, it is possible to realize the advantage of the black phone in this first three months of the year.

There is a reason for this too. Consumers who buy these mobile phones often buy directly from carriers and do not have the “fun colours”.. The iPhone SE 3, for example, bought 62% of the devices purchased this season in black.
