In one of the issues on its YouTube channel, NJ Tech tested two graphics cards in 20 modern games: Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 6700 XT. Is the first still behind the second? You can find the specifications of the graphics cards below.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 with DX12, Balanced preset, SMAA T2X and AA Ultra averaged 154 fps at 1080p (with RX 5700 XT) and 184 fps at 1440p (with RX 6700 XT) – 105 fps and 134 fps and also FSR Ultra Quality – 139 fps and 173 fps.
A Plague Tale: Requiem DX12 came with High graphics settings, RO-Ultra Quality. At 1080p resolution it managed to get an average of 69 fps (RX 5700 XT), 82 fps (RX 6700 XT), at 1440p resolution – 47 and 56 fps, at 1440p RO Balanced – 68 and 79 fps / s. .
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla released with DX12, Very High preset, 100% Scale. In Full HD, the average frame rate in this game was 104 fps and 126 fps (with the RX 5700 XT and RX 6700 XT, respectively), 1440p – 79 and 95 fps, at 1440p FSR Ultra Quality – 96 and 122 fps.
On Cyberpunk 2077 we managed to get an average of 74 fps (RX 5700 XT) and 104 fps (RX 6700 XT) at 1080p at high graphics settings with DX12 and High Texture, and 47 and 66 fps at 1440p with FSR2. Quality – 68 and 96 fps.
Red Dead Redemption 2 was released with Max preset, Ultra textures/shadows, FXAA/MSAA disabled. Average performance in this game at 1080p was 70 fps (RX 5700 XT) and 90 fps (RX 6700 XT), at 1440p – 55 and 72 fps, at 1440p FSR2 Quality – 65 fps and 82 fps.

Forza Horizon 5 released with DX12, Ultra preset, TAA/FXAA disabled, MSAA x2. Average frame rates were 101 fps (with RX 5700 XT) and 134 fps (with RX 6700 XT) at 1080p, 84 fps and 114 fps at 1440p.
Overall, in the 20 games tested, the difference between the RX 5700 XT and the RX 6700 XT was 27% at 1080p and 29% at 1440p.
