Last Wednesday (11), the Pixel 6a was announced during the Google I/O presentation. Although the brand’s mid-range smartphone is the consumption dream of many, it is only thirteen countries will receive the model at launch and Brazil is not one of them.

Launched on July 28, the Pixel 6a will have a different reception than its predecessor, the Pixel 5a, which was only released in the United States and Japan. Now, the new version of Google’s mid-range family will reach more countries including India in the future. Check the list:

  • WE
  • Canada
  • Germany
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • France
  • Italy
  • Spain
  • Japan
  • Australia
  • Singapore
  • Taiwan

Although it is not listed above, India has already been confirmed to receive the device, but no official announcement has been made yet, possibly due to the fact that the company is still trying to reveal prices for the market in question.

Brazil from the outside… once again

Although there were good prospects for the official launch of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro flagships in Brazilian soil, none of that happened. It won’t be any different with the “a” series either: Nothing from device in Brazil. At least not at launch.

However, it is still possible for the model to be released here in the future, but given Google’s history, it is necessary to proceed with some skepticism. Tecmundo has a special video explaining the theme and promises behind this story. See below:

The Pixel 6a was announced as the cheapest option among the smartphones in the series, but it still retains the high-performance Tensor processor and similar design to the brand’s top-of-the-line mobile. However, the new model brings differences in the screen, battery life and the rear camera, which has only 12 MP in the main sensor.
