iOS and iPadOS Control Center got all sorts of new features over time, including audio playback control panels, screen-record buttons, concentration modes, and much more. What if Apple did the same with one of the most important aspects of the Mac?

A dynamic Dock concept for Mac

This graphic designer’s concept aims to imagine a Dock with “more dynamic and fluid” application icons. they show us more information when hovering the mouse over them and additional content. However, according to Janum Trivedi’s words, they can automatically expand to display content temporarily.

This “Live Dock” for Mac looks amazing and brings great benefits to macOS users. In the video we can see how the messaging app is grouped. chat conversations and preview One of these is the Music application. audio playback control panel and the Safari app is a download progress viewer.

Apple will unveil all the new features of macOS 14 during WWDC23 on June 5th. Details on the new features that will be included in the operating system are unfortunately unknown, but it would be great if a dynamic Dock similar to these concepts is implemented.
