This is the result of a recently opened NASA project where we can send our names to be written on a chip that will be part of the payload. Clippers when I go to this planet to study one of its moons: Europe.
This is not the first mission to Jupiter. Already in 2011, NASA launched a probe Juneaimed at a closer study of this planet. Later, other expeditions to Jupiter began, such as the Lucy expedition, whose mission would be to study Trojan asteroids. But not only NASA headed for Jupiter. The European Space Agency (ESA) recently launched JUICE, a mission that will study the Jupiter system, which consists of Jupiter and its major moons.
Clippers will focus on only one of these satellites. Europa is known for its icy surface, under which there is supposedly an ocean. The mission will test whether this ocean really exists and analyze the possibility of life in it. Without a doubt, this is a good project to join our names. How can we send our name to Jupiter?
NASA will send the Clipper to Jupiter via 2024. So we can send our name to end of 2023.

Clipper won’t just take our name into space. Its release is scheduled for October 2023 and his arrival to Jupiter April 2030. Once there, it will begin a series of flybys of the planet. From there, he will analyze Europa’s possible underground ocean. But then why doesn’t it fly directly over the satellite?
