The oddity of the bioculture lies in carbon binding, which is the foundation of greenhouse gases and to keep it stable for a long time. This feature allows you to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere.

It can be converted into biogegol carbon units as explained by Maxim Gornostaev, a graduate student of TSU Biology Institute. Such a unit is equivalent to one ton of carbon dioxide and is used to take into account greenhouse gas emissions. These units can be sold to companies that want to compensate for their emissions.

Scientists plan to use the material obtained in an experiment to grow grass and cereal -commate crops. Bio will be used as an independent fertilizer in combination with the trace elements.

In addition, the possibility of the use of bio -gum as a sorbent is investigated. Tomsk experts are developing this aspect with a Moscow company that produces sorption drugs.
