HDPlex claims to complete its product range with the HDPlex 250W GaN Passive 250W Atx, the smallest ATX power supply to date. At 170 x 50 x 25 mm, it’s smaller than some laptop power adapters and can deliver up to 250 W. The aluminum shroud should be sufficient to absorb the heat from the components, so no fan is required.

According to the manufacturer, this form factor is possible thanks to the use of gallium nitride transistors. This type of bike needs a power source to achieve an efficiency rating of up to 94% at full load. This model has a modular design: in addition to the usual power plugs for the motherboard and processor, the psu comes with a 6+2 pcie connector, as well as a cable with three SATA and a Molex connection. Is 250 W not enough for your build? Then you can get 500 watts of power by using a y-splitter to combine the two copies.

The HDPlex 250W GaN Passive 250W Atx is expected to launch in June. The company’s website reports a price tag of 142 euros.
