Lamptron has added a new product to its range of hardware monitor displays: the HM024 vertical gpu holder. Besides holding your video card vertically upright, the HM024 can display the temperatures of your gpu and processor, among other things.

And it does this on its built-in 2.4” LCD that can display hardware information from the AIDA64 program (which is paid software, by the way). Users can design the interface themselves.

The screen has a resolution of 240 x 360 (60 Hz) with a 120° viewing angle. Connection is via USB, using both the USB header on the motherboard and a ‘normal’ USB port.

The rest of the GPU holder has an Asus ROG design. It is unclear whether it is a collaboration with Asus or whether the HM024 will be released in other designs as well.

Lamptron is a German company originally focused mainly on the niche market of hardware monitor displays. Screens with or without touch function range from 2.2” to 19.1”. The company also manufactures fans, fan controllers and RGB LED strips.

The Lamptron HM024 does not appear to be for sale in the Netherlands (yet), but can already be found in German webshops for around 150 Euros.
