Samsung’s latest additions to its Odyssey line of gaming monitors are coming to the Netherlands next month. These are the Odyssey Neo G8, Odyssey Neo G7 and Odyssey G4, the world’s first 240 Hz 4k monitor.

Neo versions of Samsung’s Odyssey monitors use mini LEDs, which means lots of dimming zones (1196 on the Neo G8 and G7). There was already a Neo G9, a 49″ ‘super ultra wide’ and now the new Neo G8 and Neo version of the G7 have been added.

Neo G8 and G7 both have a 1000R curved 32″ VA panel. They have 4k resolution (3840 x 2160) and “Quantum HDR 2000” with 2000 nits peak brightness (not DisplayHDR). two are refresh rate: 240 for G8 Hz and 165 Hz for G7.

Samsung also has the more budget-friendly Odyssey G4. This gaming monitor has no curvature and is available in 25″ and 27″ sizes. The G4 has a full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate.

It’s not yet known how much we should pay for the monitors, but in the United States the Neo G8 launched this month for $1499 (€1428) and the Neo G7 for $1299 (€1238). The Odyssey G4 doesn’t appear to be available anywhere yet, but it will likely cost less than the 1440p-G5 ($270).
