At the next@acer event this Thursday morning (20), Acer spared no effort and announced its best-in-class custom desktop with the RTX 4090 alongside four new high-performance gaming laptops.
Predator Helios Neo 16
with an impressive design Helios Neo 16 follows the solid foundations of the most rugged gaming laptops. The build is made in an aluminum enclosure and has AeroBlade heatsink technology inside.
Among the specifications, the device is equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700HX processor. You can install up to 32GB DDR5 RAM (4800MHz) and 2TB SSD (M.2 PCIe Gen 4). As for the graphics card, the model is compatible with an RTX 4070 with a maximum graphics power (MGP) of 140 W.
The screen is 16 inches in size, running at 16:10 aspect ratio, 165 Hz refresh rate and WQXGA resolution (2560 x 1600p) covering 100% of the sRGB color range. Technologies such as Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-Sync are also available.
Predatory Triton 17X
acer/description Developed for curious gamers The Predator Triton 17 X is considered Acer’s biggest flagship for 2023. The model has a 175 W RTX 4090 and an Intel Core i7-13900HX processor. Up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB of internal storage via PCIe Gen 4 round out the specs.
The build features a CNC machined chassis that provides better cooling. The display is one of the main highlights as it has a 17-inch display with Mini LED panel in WQXGA resolution, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and a refresh rate of 250 Hz. It has VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and 100% color gamut coverage of DCI-P3.
Predatory Triton 14

Configurations also include an Intel Core i7-13700H processor and an RTX 4070, but the user will also have the option of choosing a cheaper GPU like the RTX 4050. Also, the features are repeated in RAM and SSD memory, as before.
The screen is smaller at 14 inches and is available in 1920 x 1200p or 2560 x 1600p in 16:10 format. The panel is IPS type with 165 Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR 600 certification and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Predator Helios 3D 15 Spatiallabs Edition
acer/description Helios 3D Spatiallabs, the last laptop in the presentation, features a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and RTX 4080 GPU, along with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of internal storage.
Emphasis without stereoscopic 3D display need for special glasses to the game world. In 2D, the 15-inch display has 4K resolution, but when 3D is enabled, FHD+ (1920×1600) comes into play. The color gamut conforms to the Adobe RGB 100% standard, while the refresh rate is only 60 Hz.
Predator Orion X Desktop
acer/description With a design inspired by sci-fi movies, Orion X is a gaming desktop with Intel Core i7-13900KS CPU, RTX 4090 GPU, up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB SSD. The video card even has a special liquid cooling system.
The computer is divided into zones that allow user customization with various slots for memory upgrades on SSDs. Orion X reaches the international market only in September.
