Anyone who makes videos on YouTube knows it all too well, the mere fact that he said a phrase or even just a wrong word, since YouTube removed the ability to put text on top of the video, forced creators to delete and reload the video to fix those details, leading to the loss of views, likes, and comments. Also, writing the correction in the comments may result in many users not seeing it, causing them to extract incorrect information from the video in question.

That’s why, much to the delight of all content creators, YouTube is finally introducing a new feature called “corrections” that allows creators to easily add more obvious fixes without having to reload the video and delete all the comments, views, and likes. to lose. that moment and with a lot of effort and dedication.

After a video is uploaded, creators can add corrections that appear as information cards in the top right corner of a video. at the relevant timestamp (but apparently only for the first time in a particular video). Viewers can then click the tab to expand the correction comments in the video description.

The new YouTube correction feature finally allows YouTubers to quickly and intuitively add corrections such as info cards to their videos quickly and intuitively, given the amount of work it takes to create content on the platform. You can see the full instructions on how to add the above solutions and a video description of the new feature of the YouTube Creator Insider channel here.

Google could also open up YouTube to competing ad platforms, but not by its will, the company allegedly suggested this in an attempt to settle a dispute with the EU. We’ve talked about it in this article.
