The month of January was unusually warm and stable in Spain. The beaches of much of the country are filled with people swimming and sunbathing, creating a very unwinter atmosphere. This very summery end of January was due to anticyclone which reigned over a large part of the country. That is, an area of high pressure has formed, associated with masses of heavy air tending to descend and spread over the surface of the Earth. As a result, although there was heavy fog in some parts of the country, the weather was otherwise very unwintry. Sun, high temperatures and almost complete absence of precipitation.
On the other side, weather in February, at least in the first few days, will be completely different. Areas most affected by rainfall will be Galicia, Central System and western Andalusia.
Second front
On Friday, this front will already be weakening, but another, much more active one will enter the same area. Initially, precipitation will also fall in the west and center of the peninsula, but this time it is expected to quickly cross the peninsula. He will already be somewhat weaker, but Rainfall may remain in the Mediterranean.
