Chinese Xiaomi sub-brand Poco is bringing two of its mid-range smartphones to the Benelux: Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT. Both devices balance slightly more upscale features and slightly older hardware to hit a suggested retail price of at least 400 and 379 euros. The Poco F4 will be in stores from the end of this month, while the X4 GT will be in stores from July 9.
Starting with the Poco F4; The device remains largely the same as last year’s Poco F3. The device is again powered by Snapdragon 870 and has the same 6.67 inch amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. The device also has a 4500mAh battery. The main two differences are the ability to charge the smartphone with 67 watts of power and the introduction of a 64MP main camera.
The Poco F4 will have two configurations on the market; one with 6GB of ram and 128GB of storage for the 400. The suggested retail price of the 8GB/256GB variant is 450 Euros.
The Poco X4 GT goes a step further with substantially better specs for a lower suggested retail price. The device will have a 6.6-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. Additionally, the X4 GT is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100, a soc comparable to last year’s Snapdragon 888. Finally, the device has a 5080 mAh battery and a 64 MP main camera.
Both variants of the Poco X4 GT are on the market. There is only an option for 8GB of RAM, but the difference lies in the storage which is either 128GB or 256GB. These versions cost 379 and 429 euros, respectively.
