Xiaomi announced official prices in China for its first electric car Xiaomi SU7And They are located under the Tesla Model 3., even. Which is quite impressive, because in size – it’s in the E segment -, design and battery capacity, it will rival the Tesla Model S, BYD Han or Mercedes-Benz EQE.
He Xiaomi SU7Since its launch, it has attracted attention with its exterior design: a sports sedan clearly inspired by Porsche, almost 5 meters long, 1.96 meters wide and 1.44 meters high. The car will have very large interior space as it has a 3 meter wheelbase, a 5.35 square meter glass roof, ambient lighting and sports seats trimmed in Nappa leather.
Xiaomi has made sure that the SU7 has a very technologically advanced interior that integrates deeply with smartphones. It features a 16-inch multi-touchscreen located in the center of the dashboard and a second screen behind the steering wheel for 7.1-inch instruments. It all runs on HyperOS, the brand’s Android-based operating system.
The company intends for its first electric car to become a real smart cabin the screen displays all compatible applications already installed on the owner’s Xiaomi smartphone, which is also compatible with all the brand’s applications optimized for tablets. All this will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip.
Xiaomi SU7 will also have its own autonomous driving system. It will be offered in two versions, with the base variant called Pilot Pro powered by an 84 TOPS Nvidia Origin processor. The advanced variant is called Pilot Pro Max and includes two Nvidia Origin processors with 508 TOPS processing power. For this purpose, the car has radar, high-resolution cameras, a LIDAR sensor, as well as a rear millimeter wave radar for the advanced version.

Price and features of Xiaomi SU7
Xiaomi has announced that the SU7 will be available in three different versions: Standard, Pro and Max. They will also offer a special version, Founders Editionlimited edition of 5,000 units, which have already been produced and are the first to roll off the production line.
The Standard version will cost $29,875 or €27,740, the Pro version will cost $34,000 or €31,600, and the Max version will cost $41,500 or €38,500. The values are significantly lower than what many expected, especially after Lei Jun’s statements a few days ago. In the most economical version, he places it even below the Tesla Model 3, which, apparently, will be its main competitor not in terms of characteristics and size, but in terms of the economic effect for the owner.
It is worth emphasizing that these values refer to China, and that once the car is exported to other countries, especially Europe, prices will change and will inevitably have to rise. It is unknown what prices will be on international markets, and for now we will have to wait. The first deliveries will be made in April.
