whatsapp was generally slow to roll out new features, unlike Telegram, which very often continues to add important new features to its platform. Slowly but steadily the company grew from facebook has worked to fill this gap and further improve the messaging experience with some helpful updates, such as the ability to send files up to 2 GB in size, add up to 512 people in a group and community.

In May 2022, the company launched a new feature – WhatsApp message responses – to help users express themselves more effectively during their chat sessions. There was one limitation, though, which was the ability to use only six basic emojis in response. WhatsApp is working to correct this limitation, as noted by WABetaInfothe application allows you to use any emoji as a response and if you are using the latest beta version of whatsapp (v2.22.15.6 or 2.22.15.7) a new + icon should appear when you open the response menu and tap it yes has the option to choose from one of the hundreds of available Unicode emojis.

If the feature doesn’t show up, it’s because it’s still in development and WhatsApp hasn’t distributed it to all beta testers, and Zuckerberg had anticipated the addition of new phrases to message comments. Interestingly, Telegram offers 17 different emojis for comments, by subscribing to Telegram Premium you can unlock additional premium comments, while 17 emojis should still be enough for most users, WhatsApp will have an advantage over Telegram on this one department as soon as the ability to use any emoji as a response will be launched.

This isn’t the only improvement WhatsApp is working on for comments, as with a future update, the messaging service will make it easier to find out who has replied and how to open a photo or video in an album without opening it. At the moment it is only possible to see the comment and the user who posted it, but not the media itself, without opening the album.
