According to a report by the Korean publication the ElecSamsung is slashing shipping targets for the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, meaning the company expects to sell fewer foldable phones in 2023 than this year and earlier. In particular, Samsung seems to have set an overall target of 10 million units for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 and of these, only two million units of the former are expected to be distributed by the company, and it is also believed that Samsung would bet more on its clamshell device, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and is targeting shipments of eight million units for the phone.

The Elec also shared some specs from the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and it looks like the phone will feature three cameras on the back, including Samsung’s 50MP GN3 sensor, and possibly even a 12MP front shooter. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also expected to feature three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 12MP 3x telephoto lens. Perhaps Samsung would keep the same setup on the Z Fold 5.
