Tesla has pre-orders of the Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid Also in Italy. Both cars are already available again on Tesla’s online configurator. But we will have to wait a little longer: the first deliveries are expected between December 2022 and February 2023.

Tesla’s supply chain situation is slowly returning to a semi-normal situation, not counting the constraints imposed by the current adverse economic situation. This means that the manufacturer can finally withdraw some of the drastic measures that have been put in place in recent months. Including the closure of pre-orders for some of its flagship cars.

Tesla had explained time and again that he had a problem not of ‘demand’ but of supply. Translated: Tesla is currently unable to meet market demand. This results in serious delays in the delivery times of the cars. The waiting list now became biblical in proportions.

To solve this problem, Tesla had closed pre-orders of the new Model S and Model X almost everywhere, except in the US, in order to focus on the production of the Tesla Model 3 and especially Model Y. Tesla has also temporarily closed pre-orders for the Tesla Cybertruck – which has yet to go into production.
