A recent study has shown that the Love at first sight exists, yes, but why thelove blooming takes time. The more sentimental will be disappointed by the news, but science has debunked the fascinating myth of the classic love at first sight. A love story born in seconds is beautiful and commendable, surprisingly, but true love takes its time. Love at first sight is a sudden infatuation. Let’s say more of a physical or mental attraction to another person. Does love at first sight really fall in love? We always tend to see the more romantic part, like how love is destined. A first meeting characterized by a first look.

Too bad science is ruining this belief that has always been written and promoted by great poets and writers. In fact, it has been proven that love at first sight has little to do with falling in love and evolves into authentic love. A group of international researchers claims that a sentimental relationship progresses gradually. As many as 208 singles of both sexes in seven months have had more than 7,000 brave encounters.

The study was based on a particular algorithm called random forest able to investigate all kinds of information. These relate to the differences of each individual compared to the common goal of the conquest of love. Then a theoretical compatibility assessment was made that indicated which people were more interested in one partner than the other.

There are many factors that influence a love relationship. For example, sexual orientation, mutual attraction, perception of the positive sides of the soulmate or the interest this has for us. It takes time to see the pair compatibility. Love at first sight is not enough to say that everything is going well. The ReCAST model coordinates and gives time to relationships. It was elaborated by Paul Eastwick, in 2018, author of the study. Falling in love takes its time to have a clear perspective on the love affair. Thanks to this research, it is clear whether the relationship will end or be successful. Love at first sight is therefore only the starting point!
